Are you ready for a little something new? A fresh perspective on a different subject? Then this is the meeting for you!

We are lucky to have Rob Andrew, food photographer extrodianare, as our May guest speaker. His talents as a food and lifestyle photographer will rock your world.

Rob will discuss how to make mouth-watering food photos on a low equipment budget suitable for magazines and brands.

Rob will share his lighting, styling and composition techniques as well as demonstrate his surprisingly small arsenal of food photography equipment.

Bio:

Rob Andrew is a full time San Diego based photographer who specializes in food, product and lifestyle images for brands and magazines. His photos can be seen in Westways Magazine, Woman's World and First for Women. He has also worked for brands like John Deere, Gordon Rush, Perfect Foods Bar, Shakesmart, Steico Industries, Forged Clothing and more.

Rob operates a studio in the Mira Mesa area and also teaches many classes in photography through Localphotoclasses.com. His passion for teaching people the fundamentals has led him to offer 2-3 classes every month, mainly geared toward entry level photographers.

Rob has a passion for snowboarding, hiking, tennis and the outdoors in general. He lives in Oceanside with his wife and 8 year old daughter.
