<p>What better way to beat the August heat than to take a walk along the San Diego harbor front. Our goal for the evening will be to catch the full moon rising over the San Diego city skyline. But first we’ll meet at Liberty Station to explore the architecture of the old Navy training center buildings and surrounding parks. After a couple hours we’ll relocate to Harbor Island in time to watch the 7:07 moonrise. Those that are interested in carpooling should meet at the Park-n-Ride just west of the I-5 & 78 intersection at 3:00. Easiest place to meet at Liberty Station is to enter parking via Womble Rd and meet outside of Starbucks. But the place is huge and parking unpredictable so just call me if you can’t find us. On Harbor Island we will be at the mercy of the available parking.
