PHOTOSHOOT   Lone Pine

Where: 310 S Main St, Lone Pine, CA 93545

Date:     Friday, October 3, 2014
Time:     6:00am to 8:00pm
Leader:  Dan Nougier

This will be a 3 day NCPS photo shoot out of Lone Pine, CA, located on US 395 about a 4 to 5 hour drive north of us. The surrounding area is a photographer’s paradise. We will start with sunrise in the Alabama Hills and end at noon on Sunday with a visit to the Film History Museum. Our proposed itinerary also includes stops at Whitney Portal, Manzanar National Historical Site, and the Eastern California Museum in Independence. The highlight of our trip will be a visit to the Bristlecone Pine Forest, home to the oldest trees on the planet. The size of the group will be limited to 12 photographers.

Currently the shoot is full. However I am starting a waiting list, so please email Dan Nougier at photoshoots@nc-photo.org if you are interested. Additional info plus a detailed itinerary are available on request.
